  • analysis of the self-assembly mechanisms of protein fibers and their implications on degenerative diseases (Parkison´s, Alzheimer´s, etc.). Potential applications in nanotechnology.
  • Development of nano structured plasmonic nano sensors for (bio)sensing and (bio)remediation.
  • Design and obtention of hybrid nanomaterials (nano particles, thin films) with potential applications in theranostics (diagnosis and medical therapy) and photocatalysis.
  • Design of biomimetic nanostructures/scaffolds for cell proliferation, differentiation and release and applications in regenerative medicine
