PhD in Agronomic Engineering from the University of Santiago de Compostela, where has worked as Assistant Lecturer. He is currently Temporary Lecturer, since August 2010, in the Department of Plant Production and Engineering Projects. He teaches at the Escola Politécnica Superior of Lugo, in different degrees and masters, subjects related to the Environment and Landscaping. He participated as a teacher in doctoral programs of the Department of Plant Production of the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela. He has participated as a member of the research team in ten research projects, six of them were competitive tenders funded by the Xunta de Galicia and four through contracts with private companies. His research work has been published in international journals indexed in SSCI / JCR. He has numerous papers and reports presented at national and international congresses. He is also the author and co-author of several books related to both his research and teaching activities. Master Degree in Project Management and Master in Occupational Safety & Health. Member and secretary of the Interuniversity Coordination Commission and of the Academic Commission of the Máster de Arquitectura del Paisaje Juana de Vega. Secretary of the Department of Plant Production and Engineering Projects. Member of the Health and Safety Committee of the University of Santiago de Compostela. Before working in the university, he worked as a freelance professional for three years. He worked as a technical director for Viveros Denoy, a company dedicated to the production of ornamental plants, for two years and worked as technical delegate for the south of Galicia and Portugal of Sementes de Galicia S.L. where he directed landscape and environmental works during five years. Currently collaborates with several professionals in landscaping and artistic projects.
